I expected a one sided affair but the Stars could only manage to draw Geylang United 2 - 2 in last night's match, despite taking the lead in the second half. The team was stunned by Geylang's opening goal but equalised before half time.
Stars took the lead shortly after the half but could not hold on to it and fell to a geylang's goal minutes before the end of the match.
I'm concerned that Etoile are becoming the draw specialist of the S League. Hope the coach can work on improving the defence.
Well, few things to note for this game:
ReplyDelete1) Etoile was playing with 6 regulars out of the squad through suspension and injuries.
2) Patrick Vallee was not in-charge of the team due to him being punished by the club.
3) The club may have an eye on Friday's game which is live telecast.

ReplyDeleteI was beside coach Valle who was positioned behind the Etoile bench last night.
Indeed, the coach was barred from the bench but i did notice some interaction between him and one of the subs.
So how effective was this ban by the club?
